We appreciate your tremendous support of the Alport Syndrome Foundation and the 5K for Healthy Kidneys!

Don't miss the 10th anniversary celebration of both the founding of the Alport Syndrome Foundation and the creation of the 5K for Healthy Kidneys!

Mark your calendars for this historic event to be held on Sunday, April 2!

This annual family-friendly run/walk is held every spring to celebrate life and promote awareness of Alport Syndrome as well as the risks of chronic kidney disease, and the benefits of organ donation.

Alport Syndrome is a rare hereditary kidney disease that causes a decline in kidney function, hearing loss and vision problems. There is currently no treatment proven to prevent the development of kidney failure in people with Alport Syndrome; however, early diagnosis is essential as there are medications to delay the progression of the disease. There is no cure for Alport Syndrome.

Funds raised will go toward outreach, awareness and patient support.
